Rhiannon Prytherch has been passionate about Performance Art for many years. Raised in Stourbridge, West Midlands she took part in every school play as well as regional drama groups. Her first professional show was in 1998 when she performed in “Pink Floyds The Wall” for the Birmingham 70’s festival.
Following school she went on to study Theatre Studies at College before making her home in the East Midlands whilst studying for her degree in Theatre Arts. In 2005 Rhiannon graduated from University with a 2:1 and has been working professionally ever since.
As a free-lance Actor/Performance Practitioner Rhiannon has been involved in various projects both within the East Midlands and nationally. She has toured with many Theatre in Education Companies tackling issues from road safety to the environment. She has worked closely in the East Midlands with companies such as Fifth Word Theatre delivering drama workshops as well as taking part in on-going role-play work which she believes to be a powerful educational tool.
Rhiannon is now looking forward to collaborating with Sustained Magic in what she is sure to be a challenging and inspiring venture.

Janet Young
I have a great belief in theatre and stories being for the everyday person - that they have something to say to individuals and society about how they can understand themselves and each other better. This belief underpins my work as an actor.
I've acted professionally for three years in both children's and adult theatre, working for many Midlands companies, including Tangere Arts, Red Earth Theatre, Sustained Magic, The Graduate Theatre Company, Nottingham Playhouse, Acting Out and Dangerous Liaisons. I also have some experience in television and film - Doctors (BBC), When Did You Last See Your Father (Number 9 Films), The Waiting Game and Sparks (Stickmen Productions). I have extensive experience working in role, using role-play as a training tool, specialising in working with psychiatrists. I have acted in many interactive Murder Mystery events for corporate companies and am also involved in writing such events. I have written and directed several children's pantomimes for local schools and also facilitated theatre workshops for both children's and community groups. In addition I have facilitated workshops on such issues as racism, assylum seekers, risky teenage behaviour, working alongside theatre performances in schools, and have also experience of stage management, tour management and technical theatre also in schools. In the last year I have formed Big Window Theatre Company with the director Penny Breakwell, a company which specialises in theatre for young children in which I both act and administrate.
Working as an actor brings together many of my previously acquired people skills and psychological insights, particularly of individuals in times of stress. I feel the experience I gained in my former work in psychiatry is invaluable in the work I now do, portraying everyday people at often key difficult points of their lives. This combination of skill and experience I feel gives me unique position of understanding, one which I look forward to developing in its application.
